Catering & food policies

Food and beverage service for any pre-planned or scheduled social occasion taking place at Arizona State University (ASU) must be provided by a university-contracted food service provider such as ASU Catering or by an outside food vendor that is vetted for a valid permit to operate and sufficient recent food safety history. This applies to all groups. Please note some venues may have preferred vendors which must be utilized.  Visit Food and Health Safety to review the University's full guidelines pertaining to serving food at events on campus.

Memorial Union and Student Pavilion Catering 
The Memorial Union (MU) and Student Pavilion utilizes our in-house vendor, Sun Devil Hospitality, for all food and beverage needs. Other food and beverage vendors are not permitted for use.  

Arizona State University aims to reach 30% aversion and 90% diversion from the landfill by 2025. To help ASU reach this goal, zero waste catering events will be the default in both the Memorial Union and Student Pavilion.  

Approved Food Provider’s List Application
The Approved Food Providers List is no longer available. All food and/or beverage for an Arizona State University (ASU) event must be provided by an university-contracted food service provider or by an outside food vendor that is vetted for a valid permit to operate and sufficient recent food safety history.
